About

I'm Helen, and I'm totally in love with life. That's me over there on the right, with my little boy Harrison (he's in love with life too!).

I'm a coach who specializes in helping women start, grow, and/or transform their solo businesses from "so-so" to "WOW" - all while having a lifestyle that juices them beyond belief.

I spent way too many years of my life chasing a desire to have a successful business and a fulfilling life. I had millions of ideas but couldn't figure out how to get them off the ground. I started several businesses, had a bit of success, and then stopped in fear and confusion, when things didn't go quite how I expected. And I got frustrated. Which is a good thing, because it forced me to find answers.

The answers I found, though, didn't come in a pre-packaged step-by-step formula for starting and running an entrepreneurial venture. They didn't come in a "The-Only-Guide-You'll-Ever-Need-To [___]" book or program. And they didn't come from making list after list of my interests, dreams, and desires.

The answers came when I was able to really and truly look at my life, embrace it with passion exactly as it was, and give myself permission to step forward and create a business based on authenticity and a deep desire to fulfill a big dream that had been inside me all along and just needed some coaxing.

My vision, and my deepest desire, is to help as many women experience this same kind of transformation (though, men, if you're willing, I have no intention of leaving you out in the cold!). If there's one message I'd like to ring loud and clear it is this: you CAN have the business (and life) you've always dreamed of, no matter where you're starting from.

I love all the work I do, whether it's coaching clients, creating new products, brainstorming ideas for the future, or working on exciting projects in the life sciences (my primary vocation for many years).

In my non-working time, I can usually be found playing with my son, socializing with good friends, hiking in the desert or mountains, reading voraciously, taking photos, making art, or just marveling at yet another gorgeous Southern California sunset off my patio.
